The K Cut Episode 6: Sequels

disagydas

Oh great. Sequels. Can’t get enough of those, can we? Well, that line of thinking is what made sequels exist in the first place: businesspeople and storytellers saw opportunities to succeed with the same molds as before. Not every sequel is bad, and the K Cut crew discuss their favourite sequels in this week’s episode. Instead of creating a pitch this time around, we devote the second half of the episode towards discussing sequels that should not have existed; these include awful followups, and films we couldn’t even bring ourselves to watching. Listen in now!

This week, the gang discuss sequels they loved and sequels they hated/refuse to watch. This weeks topical picks: Favorites - 1. Addams Family Values (1993) - Directed by Barry Sonnefeld & Written by Paul Rudnik 2. Fanny (1932) - Directed by Marc Allégret & Written by Marcel Pagnol 3.
