It’s the first Tuesday of the month, so The K Cut has another edition of Cinematic Smorgasbord out! For newbies, this series is one where each co-host recommends a film another co-host has never seen before. We report our findings here. As well, we have a community film we all watch (like a book club) and discuss how we each feel about this selected work. Here are the suggestions this month:

1. Rachael recommended Good Bye, Lenin! to James.
2. Andreas recommended Ran to Rachael.
3. James recommended Four Eyed Monsters to Andreas.

The collective assignment of the month was Prince’s polarizing Under The Cherry Moon. You can hear how we all thought about it as well in the second half of the episode.
