The K Cut B Roll: Take 2: 93rd Academy Awards Response

The 93rd Academy Awards are officially done, and The K Cut crew was still exhausted the day after from our annual celebrations, shocks, disappointments, and all around insanity. So, we shoot the breeze and discuss everything Oscars: what worked, what didn’t, and whatever the hell that ending was. Joining us is filmmaker and Independent Spirit Awards member Jianthonnie Rojas Rivera.

We discuss the following, in order:
1) The best and worst dressed (none of us are fashion experts).
2) The ceremony itself (what we liked, and what we feel felt flat).
3) The most unique acceptance speeches.
4) The wins themselves, from the predictable to the most surprising.
5) How our predictions panned out.
6) Our reflections on the next Oscars ceremony (yeah, we’re a bit obsessed).
